Softball: Westminster SAAC Honors Squelch as Titan Athlete of the Week

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected softball senior Kelsey Squelch (Pittsburgh, PA / Perry Traditional) as its Titan Athlete of the Week for the week of April 14.

Squelch scored the game-winner, by doubling-in freshman Francesca Nardone (Ellwood City, PA / Lincoln), in Westminster's 1-0 win versus Saint Vincent on Wednesday. Squelch also capped off the Titans' 3-2 comeback win against Waynesburg on Saturday with her second game-winning hit, scoring Nardone with a double in the top of the seventh inning.

The Titans will face Thiel tonight in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) doubleheader.
