NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College men's golf team kicked off its Spring season over the weekend. The Titans competed at Grove City on Friday and at Thiel on Saturday.
At Grove City, Westminster placed fifth out of seven schools with a score of 351. Titan junior Ross Montanti (Gibsonia, PA / Pine-Richland) (40-43) and senior David Paladino (Jefferson Hills, PA / Thomas Jefferson) (44-39) led Westminster as they tied for 12th with a score of 83.
At Thiel, the Titans finished fifth out of seven schools with a score of 341. Montanti led Westminster with a 14th finish with a score of 80 (41-39).
Westminster will host its invitational at the New Castle Country Club on Monday. Shotgun is set for 12 p.m.
