NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected women's track & field senior Haley Gabor (New Kensington, PA / Ford City) as its SAAC Titan Athlete of the Week for the week of March 3.
Gabor was part of four record-breaking performances last week, leading the Titans to their first Indoor PAC Championship. Gabor won the 200 with a school-record time of 26.44. She also placed second in the 400 with a school-record time of 59.18. Gabor's third record-breaking time came during the preliminaries of the 60 meter dash as she finished in 8.11. Gabor was also part of the 4x400 relay team who finished in a PAC- and a school-record time of 4:09.36.
The 2014 NCAA Division III Indoor Track & Field Championships are scheduled for Friday-Saturday, March 14-15 in Lincoln, Neb. This year's championships are being hosted by Nebraska Wesleyan University at the Bob Devaney Sports Center on the campus of the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
