NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected women's basketball senior Gabby Holko (Pittsburgh, PA / Mt. Alvernia) as its SAAC Titan Athlete of the Week for the week of January 13.
Holko led Westminster to a 2-0 mark in PAC games last week by averaging 20.5 points, 5.0 assists and 3.0 rebounds. In wins over Bethany (69-63) and Waynesburg (78-71), the senior from Pittsburgh shot 52.6 percent from the floor, 50.0 percent from three-point range and 89.5 percent from the free throw line. The Titans are currently riding a four-game win streak, the program's longest since recording five-straight wins during the 2009-10 season.
Westminster will host the no. 7 nationally-ranked Thomas More tonight at 6 p.m.
