Swimming & Diving: Titans Receiving National Votes

Thursday, October 31, 2013

SOMERS, Wis. - The Westminster College men's and women's swimming & diving teams are both ranked in the top-50 in the latest Endless Pools/ rankings.

The men are ranked 27th in the country with 254.1 points, while the women stand 48th with 155 points.

The ranking accounts for teams' top performances over the preceding month and is the only objective ranking of college swimming for NCAA Divisions I, II, and III, NAIA, and NJCAA. This year's rankings utilize a new point system based on a 1,100 point scale.  The new scale uses NCAA time standards and a percentile ranking of all college times over the past four years.

Westminster will compete at Bethany on Saturday with a starting time of 1 p.m.
