SLIPPERY ROCKY, Pa. - The Westminster College women's cross country team placed sixth at the Slippery Rock Invitational on Saturday. The Titans scored 168 out of seven schools.
Titan junior Jenny Jones (Erie, PA / Fort LeBoeuf) led Westminster with a 15th-place finish out of 78 runners with a time of 25:17.58.
Rounding out the top-five finishers for Westminster were senior Erin Sullivan (Aurora, OH / Aurora) (48th/28:11.12), freshman Keilah Ireland (Nashua, NH) (54th/28:59.44), freshman Jenny Rodgers (State College, PA / State College) (56th/29:05.09), and sophomore Sara Monts (Duncansville, PA / Hollidaysburg Area) (66th/30:16.59).
The Titans will compete at the Inter-Regional Rumble next Saturday in Oberlin, Ohio.
