NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's soccer team won, 1-0, in overtime against Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Bethany under the lights of Harold Burry Stadium. The Titans improved to 7-5 overall and 2-0 in the conference, while the Bison dropped to 2-10 overall and 0-2 in the PAC.
Titan sophomore Raechel Pusateri (Volant, PA / Wilmington) scored the game-winner in the first two minutes of overtime (92:25) after she received a corner kick from senior Jordan Steele (Falconer, NY / Falconer Central). The goal tied Pusateri for first on the team for most goals this season.
Westminster sophomore goalie Rachael Letscher (Canfield, OH / Cardinal Mooney) earned her first shutout win of her collegiate career and improved to 3-1 on the season, while earning three saves.
Westminster outshot Bethany 16-3, while Titan sophomore Rebecca Bradnam (Irwin, PA / Hempfield) had a game-high three shots.
The Titans will host Saint Vincent on Saturday at 6 p.m. during homecoming weekend.
