Women's Cross Country: Jones Finishes in Top-5 as Titans Compete at Chatham

PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Westminster College women's cross country team placed sixth out of 10 schools at the Chatham Invitational on Saturday. The Titans finished with 134 points.

Waynesburg won the event with 40 points, while Saint Vincent's Genie Fratto was the medalist with a time of 24:54.4.

Titan junior Jenny Jones (Erie, PA / Fort LeBoeuf) paced Westminster with a fifth-place finish out of 100 runners, with a time of 25:29.2. Rounding out the top-3 finishers for Westminster were freshman Jenny Rodgers (State College, PA / State College) (26th/28:12.9) and senior Erin Sullivan (Aurora, OH / Aurora) (35th/28:52.1).

Westminster will take a week off and compete at the Slippery Rock Invitational on Oct. 12.
