Women's Tennis: Titans Remain Undefeated, Win 8-1 Over Franciscan

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's tennis team won, 8-1, against Franciscan in a non-conference match at home Thursday. The Titans remained undefeated with an overall record of 9-0, while the Barons dropped to 4-3 on the season.

Titan senior Caitlin Hosler (Lititz, PA / Manheim Central) won at no. 1 singles, 6-0, 6-2, and teamed up with freshman Mariah Turiano (Hollidaysburg, PA / Hollidaysburg) at no. 1 doubles for an 8-2 win.

Westminster junior Lauren Fling (Norton, OH / Norton) battled hard at no. 5 singles and won 6-4, 4-6, 10-7.

The Titans will travel to Presidents' Athletic Conference foe Saint Vincent on Saturday. Both teams were Co-PAC Champions last year. The starting time is slated for 11 a.m.
