NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected volleyball senior Megan Romocean (Ravenna, OH / Southeast) as its SAAC Titan Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 23.
Romocean and the Titans went a perfect 4-0 last week, with each of those four victories coming in straight sets. She finished with a team-high 42 kills in her nine sets played (4.7 kills/set) and hit .403. Romocean also handled 19 serve receptions without an error and averaged 1.56 digs per set. For her efforts, Romocean was tabbed the Presidents' Athletics Conference Volleyball Player of the Week.
The Titans will travel to Washington & Jefferson on Thursday with a starting time of 7 p.m.
