PITTSBURGH, Pa. - Titan senior David Paladino (Jefferson Hills, PA / Thomas Jefferson) placed second overall out of 113 golfers and guided the Westminster College men's golf team to a second-place finish at the La Roche Invitational on Tuesday. Paladino carded a 77, while the Titans scored 334 points in the nine-school tournament.
Grove City won the event with a score of 328 and Wolverine Brian Giesler was the medalist with a 74.
Also placing in the top-10 for Westminster was junior Dom Ciraula (Wexford, PA / Pine-Richland) who placed tenth with a score of 84.
Westminster will compete at the Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship starting Monday at the Oak Tree Country Club.
