Men's Soccer: Beaudoin's Late Goals Guides Titans in Win at Medaille

BUFFALO, N.Y. - Sophomore Richard Beaudoin (Adamstown, MD / Tuscarora) scored both of the Titans' points, including the first of his collegiate career and the game-winner with less than a minute remaining in regulation, as the Westminster College men's soccer team won, 2-1, at Medaille on Tuesday. The Titans improved to 5-5 overall, while the Mavericks dropped to 3-5-1 on the season.

Medaille had a 1-0 lead when Cory Carter scored in the 28th minute. The score would remain the same until Beaudoin scored off a corner kick with 76:59 on the clock. Beaudoin was not done as he scored his second goal of the game after a breakaway with 40 seconds left in the game.

Titan junior goalie Michael Girata (Monaca, PA / Central Valley) got the win, while earning a game-high five saves. Girata improved to 4-3 on the season.

For the game, Medaille out-shot Westminster 20-7.

Westminster will host Point Park on Thursday at 5:00 p.m.
