Women's Tennis: Titans Remain Undefeated, Top PAC Foe Thomas More

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's tennis team won, 8-1, over Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Thomas More on Sunday. The Titans remained unbeaten at 7-0 overall and 6-0 in the PAC, while the Saints dropped to 5-6 overall and 3-4 in the conference.

Titan senior Caitie Hosler (Lititz, PA / Manheim Central) led the way at singles with a 6-1, 6-1 win at no. 1. Freshman Christijana Vucenovic (West Middlesex, PA / West Middlesex) came back after being down 6-4 in the first game and won 6-2, 6-0 in the final two.

Hosler teamed up with freshman Mariah Turiano (Hollidaysburg, PA / Hollidaysburg) for Westminster's lone shutout in doubles with an 8-0 win at no. 1.

Westminster is back in action Tuesday when it hosts Grove City at 4 p.m.
