Women's Tennis: Titans Hand Behrend First Loss, Move to 6-0

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College women's tennis team handed Penn. State-Behrend its first loss of the year as the Titans won, 8-1, and remained undefeated on the season with a record of 6-0 on Tuesday. The Lions dropped to 7-1 on the year.

The Titans swept the singles competition, paced by senior Caitlin Hosler (Lititz, PA / Manheim Central) at no. 1 who won 6-4, 6-1. Junior Lauren Fling (Norton, OH / Norton) earned a shutout at no. 5 singles with a score of 6-0, 6-0.

Westminster will open a four-game home stand starting with Mount Union on Friday. The match begins at 3:30 p.m.
