High Fives: April 8-April 14

High Fives are the Top-5 performances by Westminster athletes during the previous week as selected by the Titan Sports Blogger.

#1 - Chelsea Brown (Softball) - Titan senior pitcher Chelsea Brown led on the mound with three victories and a stellar earned run average of 0.82.  Brown appeared in 17 innings and only gave up two earned runs and struck out a team-high 25 batters and walked just one. In addition to pitching, Brown was a force at the plate as she batted .583 (7-12) for the week, with a team high eight RBIs.  Brown had four doubles on the week, two runs scored, and a stolen base.

Brown's performance over the week led to her being chosen as PAC Softball Pitcher of the Week.

#2 - Scott Hanicak (Baseball) - Hanicak was impressive on the mound, going a strong 8.2 innings Sunday afternoon.  Hanicak allowed just one earned run on the week and tallied six strikeouts to go along with just two walks.

#3 Haley Gabor (Track and Field) - Gabor had a first place finish in the 400 meter run with a time of 59.71.  Gabor was also a part of the 4x100 meter relay that took first place with a time of 50.67.

#4 Robert Fazzolare (Track and Field) - Fazzolare had a first place finish in the 200 meter dash (22.78).  Westminster placed third at the Westminster Invite.

#5 Nick Reinthaler (Baseball) - Reinthaler led the offense with a team high five RBIs.  Reinthaler started all three games going .500 (5-10) at the plate with three doubles, a walk, and two runs scored.
