GREENVILLE, Pa. - The Westminster College men's tennis team was selected to finish third in the 2013 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Men's Tennis Preseason Coaches' Poll. The Titans earned 44 points.
Grove City was picked to finish first with 63 points and collected seven first-place votes. Saint Vincent was picked second and acquired the remaining first-place vote to total 57 points. Waynesburg followed Westminster in fourth (36), Thiel in fifth (27), Washington & Jefferson in sixth (23), Thomas More in seventh (22) and Bethany in eighth (16).
The preseason poll collected votes from each of the eight head men's tennis coaches in the PAC.
Westminster senior Sean Black (Aurora, Ohio/Aurora), freshman Troy Abbott (Seven Fields, Pa./Seneca Valley), and sophomore Mike Matisi (Lowellville, Ohio/Lowellville) were listed on the "Players to Watch".
The Titans (0-2) will travel to Penn State-Behrend (0-6) on Friday at 5 p.m.
