Men's Basketball: Westminster SAAC Honors Smith as Titan Athlete of the Week

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected men's basketball senior Doug Smith (South Park, PA / South Park) as its SAAC Titan Athlete of the Week for the week of Feb. 4.

Smith scored his 1,000th career point in the Titans' 79-69 loss at Bethany last Wednesday. Smith became the 35th Titan ever to score at least 1,000 career points and the first since Ryne Murray (2010). Smith has only played three years for the Titans as he transferred to Westminster during his sophomore year. 

The Titans will play their final home regular season game on Saturday when they host Waynesburg at 4 p.m.
