Women's Soccer: Cantella, Steele named to NSCAA Division III All-Region Teams

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Two members of the Westminster College women's soccer team have received Division III All-Great Lakes Region honors. Senior goalie Jenn Cantella (Freedome, PA / Freedom) was named to the first team and junior midfielder Jordan Steele (Falconer, NY / Falconer Central) to the third team.

Cantella was the first female Titan to receive first team all-region honors since 2007 (Brittany McKee). This also was the first all-region accolades for both Cantella and Steele.

Cantella, a three-year starter, was third in the PAC with 95 saves and fourth in goals against average (1.27) and saving percentage (.798). Cantella ended her collegiate career with 358 saves and 19 shutouts, both ranked second all-time in Westminster women's soccer history.

Steele, a two-year starter, started in 19 games. She tied for fourth on the team with a career-high two assists.

Westminster posted a 7-8-5 overall record and a seventh-place record of 2-4-3 in the PAC.
