Men's Basketball: Thomas Named PAC Player of the Week

GREENVILLE, Pa. - Junior Anthony Thomas (New Castle, PA / Union), a member of the Westminster College men's basketball team, was recognized by the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) as the Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week of Nov. 19.

Thomas averaged 19.0 points and shot 55.6 percent (15-27) from the floor as he helped guide the Titans to a 2-0 start of the 2012-13 season, the program's first 2-0 start since the 2000-01 season. He finished with 19 points, four assists and a pair of rebounds in Friday's 67-58 victory over Mount Union and totaled 19 points, three assists and three rebounds in Saturday's 78-60 victory over Muskingum. Thomas was selected to the Buzz Ridl All-Classic team for his efforts. He committed just two turnovers in 64 minutes of action.

Westminster will travel to Pitt-Bradford tonight at 7 p.m.
