NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) today selected football junior Tyler Banks (Meadville, PA / Meadville) as its SAAC Titan Athlete of the Week for the week of September 24.
Banks had a career-day during the Titans' 17-6 win over Saint Vincent on Saturday. Banks led all players with a career-high 144 rushing yards (5.5 avg.) and a score, while eclipsing the century mark for the first time in his career.
The Titans (2-1) will host Grove City (2-2) in a PAC showdown on Saturday at 1 p.m in Westminster's Homecoming game.
