NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College men's soccer team scored four unanswered goals to top the visiting La Roche Redhawks, 4-1, under the lights of Harold Burry Stadium. The Titans improved to 5-2 on the season, while the Redhawks dropped to 1-5.

La Roche scored first at the 1:53 mark in the first half when Ryan Luffey made a play from a deflection.

McCarthy gave the Titans a 2-1 lead (22:29) when he made a quick turn-around move past the Redhawks' defense. With about a minute and a half remaining before intermission, Cantella scored his team-leading seventh goal of the year as he placed a 15-yarder to the far high post.

Also scoring for the Titans was junior David Osae (Bedford, TX / Lawrence D. Bell) late in the second half (88:42) as the ball bounced around and Osae beat the Redhawks keeper to the ball.

Westminster senior goalie Adam Kephart (Beaver Falls, PA / Beaver County Christian) gathered in two saves in 90 minutes of play. The Titans also had three team saves.

The Titans will travel to Baldwin-Wallace on Saturday at 3 p.m.
