Women's Tennis: Titans Blank Bethany in Season Opener

BETHANY, W.Va. - The Westminster College women's tennis team showed why they were picked to finish first in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) in 2012 by blanking PAC foe Bethany 9-0 Wednesday night in Westminster's opening match of the year. The Titans won 96 of 100 games, including five straight shutouts from the no. 2 through the no. 6 singles flights.

The Titans go to 1-0 overall and 1-0 in the conference, while the Bison dropped to 0-2 and 0-1 on the year.

The Titans return to action on Thursday as they travel to Franciscan at 4 p.m.
