Men's Golf: Titans Wrap Up 2011-12 Season at Grove City

GROVE CITY, Pa. - The Westminster College men's golf team finished its 2011-12 season on Monday at the McBride-Behringer-Allen Tournament, hosted by Grove City College. The Titans finished fifth out of seven schools with a 328.

Saint Vincent won the event with a 315, followed by Grove City "A" and Notre Dame (Ohio) with a 316. Grove City "B" was fourth (326). After Westminster, Westminster "B" placed with a 367 and Bethany followed with a 389.

Junior Andrew Edwards (Aliquippa, PA / Hopewell) led Westminster with a 78 (41-37), good enough for a tie for fifth-place. Sophomore Chris Molinar (Easton, PA / Easton) was next for the Titans with an 81 (41-40) for a 14th-place tie. Freshman Ross Montanti (Gibsonia, PA / Pine-Richland) rounded out the top-20 finishers for Westminster with an 83 (42-41), placing 17th overall.
