Six Westminster College sports teams will be competing down south during spring break March 8-14. The baseball and softball teams will play 10 games apiece in Fort Pierce and Kissimmee, Fla., respectively. The men’s and women’s tennis teams will play three matches apiece at Hilton Head Island, S.C., and the men’s and women’s track & field teams will compete at Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach, S.C. Check the Westminster athletics Web site for daily updates. In addition, some Titan varsity athletes are volunteering in Iowa, Alabama and The Bahamas during spring break.

The Titans are now 1-3, while Defiance is 7-1 and St. Francis is 4-4.

03.10.2010 Baseball: McCoy Tosses Shutout to Help Titans Split with E-Town FORT PIERCE, Fla. - In the second day of doubleheaders played at Fort Pierce, Fla., the Westminster College baseball team once again split with its opponent thanks to a solid pitching performance. The Titans lost the first game to Elizabethtown, 7-2, on Wednesday before shutting out the Blue Jays, 3-0, in the second game.	03.09.2010 Softball: Westminster Goes 1-1 in First Day of Rebel Games KISSIMMEE, Fla. - The Westminster College softball team opened its 2010 season by splitting two games in the first day at the Rebel Games in Kissimmee, Fla. The Titans lost their first game to Eastern Mennonite, 8-4, before defeating Emmanuel, 4-1. Westminster is now 1-1 while EMU is 4-1 and Emmanuel is 3-2.
