50th Reunion

Class of 1967

During the 2017 Homecoming & Reunion Weekend (October 13, 14 and 15), Westminster College will celebrate the class of 1967 during their 50th Reunion Golden Anniversary Celebration. In addition to organizing a lineup of events for their classmates, the 50th Reunion Planning Committee has chosen to endow the Class of 1967 Scholarship in honor of this monumental celebration.

Tentative Homecoming & Reunion Weekend Review

If you entered with the Class of 1967, you are considered a member of the Class of 1967. Please plan to attend and join in the celebration. Below is a schedule that is subject to change.

Friday, October 13

1 – 4:30 p.m.

Gather with friends for light refreshments and pick up your registration packets and weekend information.

Friday Night Social

Class members and guests will meet. Advanced reservations and payment are required for all attendees.

8:30 – 9:30 a.m.

Didn’t have a chance to pick up your weekend registration packet on Friday? Stop by to pick up your materials on Saturday prior to the Worship Service. After 9:30 a.m., packets will be available at the Golden Tower Society Luncheon.

Homecoming Worship Service led by the Class of 1967

Hosted and planned by the Class of 1967 working in cooperation with the Chapel Office. This is an opportunity for all alumni returning to campus to worship together.

Members of the 50th reunion class provide the message, read the necrology and place memorial flowers.

Golden Tower Society Luncheon

Advance reservations are required. Class members will be given a complimentary lunch. All guests will need to pay a nominal fee. The Society recognizes alumni of 50 years or more. Each year, the 50th reunion class is officially inducted into the Golden Tower Society during the Reunion Celebration Luncheon. Special seating is available for your class. Program will begin at 12:15.

Registration Notes

All class members and a guest are hosted by the College for many weekend activities. Although payment is not required for all events, advance reservations are required so that we may properly prepare to welcome you back to campus.

There are three ways in which you may register for homecoming activities:

  • Visit and complete the online form (coming soon).
  • Mail the reservation form that will be part of the homecoming brochure.
  • Call the alumni office at 724-946-7364.

A block of 25 rooms is reserved at a reduced rate ($98/night) at the Park Inn by Raddison in Sharon. Reservations may be placed online at or by calling 724-528-2501. All reservations must be made by 9/15/2017. Be sure to tell them that you are with the Westminster group to receive the discounted rate.
