Your academic acceptance to Westminster College will be based primarily on the strength of your secondary school work and your performance on the TOEFL examination. All ORIGINAL documents (including transcripts) or NOTARIZED copies must be submitted for evaluation.
International students must submit the following materials:
- The application for International Admissions
The formal application for international students must be fully completed before the student will be considered for admission. The application requires complete information regarding qualifications, English language proficiency (TOEFL), plan of study, financial status, letters of recommendation, and physical health of the student. - Academic Requirements & Transcripts
Applicants for admission must have completed at least a 13 year elementary/secondary school program or equivalent of a U.S. high school graduation requirement. To be admitted to Westminster College, the applicant must have at least a 2.50 (C+) average on a 4.00 scale, or a first division pass on the European University (0 level) scale in courses which are college preparatory in nature.
ORIGINAL secondary school transcripts or a copy of the transcript with an OFFICIAL SCHOOL SEAL or a NOTARIZED COPY of the transcript are required. An up-to-date transcript includes grades for the last four years of school as well as a listing of courses, exams, or certificates in progress. - English Requirement
The SAT is required of students whose country of origin is an English - speaking country. Students whose native language is not English are required to submit results of the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL). The minimum TOEFL score required for unconditional admission is 500. The Michigan Test score required for unconditional admission is 75. - Financial Resources Requirements
International applicants should be prepared to meet the full cost of attendance - tuition, fees, room, board, books, supplies, and personal expenses for the calendar year - from personal or family resources or from funds supplied by their government or other outside sources. Every accepted international student will receive a $9,000/year International Student Diversity Grant.
Applicants are required to complete the "International Student Financial Declaration" which is included in the Application, amounts should be converted to $US dollars.
