Astronomers are planning a new generation of football field-sized telescopes to capture the farthest, sharpest images of space ever. How do these telescopes work? Why are they so important? Perhaps you've thought about buying your own backyard scope, or maybe you have one you'd like to use more often. Join professional astronomer Dr. Thomas Oberst for an overview of telescopes. A few backyard models will be present for the audience to check out.
