Dr. Terri Lenox Receives Distinguished Lecturer Award

Dr. Terri Lenox, Professor of Computer Science, received the Distinguished Faculty Award at Westminster College's annual commencement ceremonies held on May 18, 2013. 
 
Lenox, who serves as chair of Westminster's Department of Mathematics and Computer Science, joined the faculty in 1999.  She earned an undergraduate degree from Grove City College and master's degree and Ph.D. from the University of Pittsburgh.
 
The Distinguished Faculty Award is given to the faculty member who has, over a sustained period of time, demonstrated characteristics of the most outstanding faculty - intellectual vitality, effective communication skills, the ability to motivate or inspire compassion and concern for student success, collegiality, and leadership. Nominations come from students, faculty, and alumni.
