David King '91, founder of AmagiSoft, LLC, was the guest speaker at a colloquium hosted by the Mathematics and Computer Science Department on Monday, April 2, 2012, in Hoyt 152. Mr. King's topic was "Entrepreneurship in the Sciences."
In his talk, Mr. King discussed how E=mc2 is not only a fundamental equation in physics but also in entrepreneurship. He also explained why it is better to create a job than to find one.
David King is a serial entrepreneur. He has started and sold several companies since graduating from Westminster College in 1991 with a B.S. in Physics. David is currently the founder of AmagiSoft, LLC, which develops business management software for small businesses.
