Jesse T. Mann

Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dean of the College, Professor of French

Jesse T. Mann accepted the position of Dean in March of 2003. As a Professor of French, he served the College for 23 years, most recently as Associate Dean of the College and Chair of Modern Languages. He graduated from Washington and Lee University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in French. Subsequently, he earned a Master of Arts and Ph.D. in French from the University of Virginia.

Dr. Mann resides in New Wilmington with his wife, Vicki. They have two daughters, Courtney and Lauren. Courtney travel associate for the World Wildlife Fund in Washington, DC. She resides in Alexandria, Virginia. Lauren is a graduate student in the Higher Education program at Kent State University and works as a graduate assistant at Ursuline College in Cleveland. She lives in Streetsboro, Ohio..

Dean Mann's position demands that he eates, lives and breathes Westminster; however, in his small amounts of spare time he enjoys spending time with his family, working out, playing raquetball, reading and puttering around his yard.
