Other information:Señora is the coordinator for Westminster College’s branch of Sigma Delta Pi, the National Spanish Honorary Society. She has traveled to Argentina with Westminster students to teach summer courses there, and is planning a Spring 2010 travel course to Chile clustered with environmental studies. |
Did you know?Camila enjoys outdoor walking and hiking. Her children and grandchildren live in Argentina and Chile and she crosses the Andean mountains every time she visits them with her husband, who is a painter and professor of art at the Art Institute of Pittsburgh. |

Camila B. López teaches courses on Latin American culture, literature and on the Spanish language at all levels and for specific purposes. Her main research interest at this moment is focused on the Andean cultures and on historical novels dealing with the history and ethnic / urban structure of Latin American society. She has presented and published articles on gender imaginary, urban-social structure, and Latin American identity.
