The Modern Languages Deparment at Westminster aims to inspire students to attain a greater intellectual flexibility through study of language and culture. Language courses increase students' ability to understand, speak, read and write a foreign language, and enable students to use a foreign language for pofessional and business needs, travel and personal satisfaction. The department encourages language students to begin their professional career while still in school by doing internships we have established regionally, nationally and abroad. We also recognize that an interantional study experience is often the high point in a student's college career, and we help students to choose a program that meets their needs.
