Westminster College: Academics: Public Relations: Overview

Westminster College's department of public relations offers an eight-semester sequential major which culminates in an internship, experiential study program, and capstone. The department also offers a public relations minor for students majoring in a different area of study. All students majoring in public relations are strongly urged to double major or minor in at least one other discipline and take electives in multiple areas of interest to them.

Westminster College is the first private liberal arts school in the nation to offer an undergraduate major in public relations.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster College honored 49 employees for 1,020 years of combined service at a luncheon May 8 in the McKelvey Campus Center's Witherspoon Rooms.

05.03.2013 Westminster College Computer Science Students Present Research and Earn Top Honors at Behrend Conference NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Five Westminster College senior computer science majors presented the results of their capstone projects April 13 at the 2013 Penn State Behrend Sigma Xi Undergraduate Research and Creative Accomplishment Conference. Two of the five students were awarded top honors in the Computer Science and Engineering session.	04.12.2013 Westminster College Community to Attend Camp Movie April 13 NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - "CAMP", a movie inspired by the heartbreaking stories of foster children, was playing in limited release Saturday, April 13, at the Westgate Cinema 9 in New Castle. The producer of the movie attended the 4:15 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. showing, as well as nearly 100 Westminster College students, alumni, faculty and staff.
