Public Relations Department

Westminster College's department of public relations offers an eight-semester sequential major which culminates in an internship, experiential study program, and capstone. The department also offers a public relations minor for students majoring in a different area of study. All students majoring in public relations are strongly urged to double major or minor in at least one other discipline and take electives in multiple areas of interest to them.

Westminster College is the first private liberal arts school in the nation to offer an undergraduate major in public relations.

Westminster College's Jake Erhardt International Film Series will resume Tuesday, Sept. 30, at 7 p.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater.  The program is free and open to the public.

Mathematics Honor Society Inducted New Members

The Westminster College chapter of Kappa Mu Epsilon mathematics honor society inducted seven students as new members at a ceremony at Gallo's Italian Villa in New Castle.

Westminster College Students Give Back to Others During Spring Break

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Eighteen Westminster College students and four staff members spent their spring break in Tennessee serving others through Habitat for Humanity and ReStore, a store that sells surplus building supplies and household goods to raise money for Habitat.

Westminster College to Present Bleasby Colloquium on The Great Gatsby

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - The Westminster College Department of English and Public Relations will host the Bleasby Colloquium, featuring a presentation by Bob Batchelor, executive director of James Pedas Communication Center at Thiel College and professor of communication. It will take place 7 p.m. Thursday, March 20 at Westminster College's Mueller Theatre in Mckelvey Campus Center. It is free and open to the public.
