Experience: Betty P. Talbert, Lecturer in Management, received her bachelor's degree in HRM/LR from
Youngstown State University, and her master's degree in Industrial and Labor Relations from
Indiana University of Pennsylvania. Prior to her current position, Betty accumulated over twenty years of
experience as a Human Resources and Labor Relations Manager, primarily in unionized manufacturing firms.
Her area of expertise is in Human Resource Management and Labor Relations and she is a certified workplace
mediator. She teaches courses in Organizational Behavior, benefits, compensation,
management, employment law, labor law, and American workplace. She also currently serves as advisor in
the internship program within the Economics and Business department.
