MERCER, Pa.-- Severe storms spawned tornadoes in Pennsylvania on Tuesday afternoon including one in Mercer County.
The National Weather Service says an F1 tornado touched down Tuesday afternoon near the town of Hoagland. It traveled 2½ miles along State Route 318, knocking over trees. There are reports of damaged roofs and downed trees in both Mercer and Armstrong counties.
The NWS says a microburst also hit parts of Mercer County where it tore the roof off one house and brought down many trees.
No injuries were reported.
