NEW WILMINGTON, Pa.-- Westminster's Celebrity Series announces the new season opens in October with the classic folk-rock band, America.  America takes the stage in Orr Auditorium on Oct. 4.

The band's big hits include "A Horse with No Name," "You Can Do Magic," "Ventura Highway," "Sister Golden Hair," "Tin Man," and more.

On November 15, The Hit Men stage show comes to town featuring former stars of Frankie Valli and The Four Seasons while featuring THE Voice of "Oh What a Night" Gerry Polci.  Promoters stress this is not a tribute band, but the real, original performers.

For the holiday season, organizers have booked Christmas with The Tenors on Dec. 9.  The show features  some of the season's most popular songs. The Canadian Tenors have been thrilling audiences around the world with their powerful voices and blend of classical music and contemporary pop; sharing the stage with legendary artists such as Andrea Bocelli, Celine Dion (on the Oprah show), Sting and Paul McCartney

In March, Celebrity Series presents the Women of Ireland on March 7 with a full stage production sharing Irish music, song and dance.

On April 25, Neil Berg's 100 years of Broadway stops in town.  Promoters call it the most successful touring Broadway concert in America.  The show features five of Broadway's finest stars direct from NYC performing songs from the best and most beloved stage musicals of the past 100 years.
