WAYNESBURG, Pa. - For the fourth time in the past nine games, the Westminster College women's basketball team overcame a halftime-deficit and won. The Titans, down 56-39 at halftime, came back and won, 77-76, at Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) foe Waynesburg on Saturday.

Down 76-74 with 17 seconds to play in regulation, Titan senior Courtney Zitt (Latrobe, PA / Greater Latrobe) found classmate Gabby Holko (Pittsburgh, PA / Mt. Alvernia) for the game-winning three-pointer with seconds left. For the game, Holko tied a career-high with a game-high 27 points, while netting a game-high four three-pointers and shooting a game- and career-high 11-for-11 from the free throw line (which is second-best in Titan history).

The game was tied three times in the first 10 minutes of the first half. Tied 17-17 at the 10:29 mark, Waynesburg (12-11, 10-6 PAC) took the lead and had its first double-digit lead of the game (39-27) with 5:15 to go. The Yellow Jackets' 56-39 halftime-lead was their largest of the game.

In the second half, Westminster (13-10, 10-6 PAC) cut Waynesburg's lead to single-digits (62-53) after freshman Rachel Durbin (Lowellville, OH / Lowellville) found Zitt for a layup with 11:10 on the clock. The Titans went on a 12-4 run, capped off with a layup from junior Allison Borts (Youngstown, OH / Boardman), and sliced Waynesburg's lead to 66-65 with 7:47 to play. Tied 69-69 with 5:04 on the clock, Waynesburg took a 75-69 lead after a three-pointer which capped off a 6-0 run with 3:38 to go in the game. The Titans chipped at the Yellow Jackets' lead and sealed the win after the three-pointer from Holko.

The comeback marks the largest of the season for Westminster. The Titans' previous largest comeback was at Grove City on Jan. 22 when Westminster was down 33-21 at halftime.
For the game, Waynesburg out-shot Westminster 33.8% (26-77) to 30.8% (20-65) and out-rebounded the Titans 55-49.
