JACKSON CENTER, Pa. (AP) - A man has been jailed on charges that he stole weapons and ammunition from a western Pennsylvania gun shop where he used to work.

Online court records don't list an attorney for 40-year-old Enoch Blackburn, of Grove City. State police announced his arrest over the weekend, but he's been in custody since Dec. 11. That's when police say they searched his house and seized more than 70 weapons, including an M14 rifle with a silencer.

Police say Blackburn stole some of the weapons from Altra Firearms in Jackson Center, a tiny Mercer County borough a few miles from the Ohio border, about 60 miles northwest of Pittsburgh.

Blackburn faces a preliminary hearing Jan. 8 on charges including theft, receiving stolen property, possessing prohibited offensive weapons and possessing a firearm with an obliterated serial number.
