Westminster College Theatre Professor Awarded Prize for Innovative Teaching
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Dr. Scott Mackenzie, Westminster College associate professor and director of theatre, was recently awarded the Prize for Innovative Teaching in Theatre from the Association of Theatre in Higher Education and Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region II (ATHE/KCACTF). Region II includes Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, northwest New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia.

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster College students won numerous awards in December at the Student Symposium on the Environment. The event was hosted by Westminster Environmental Programs and co-sponsored by the Slippery Rock Watershed Coalition. Awards were sponsored by Stream Restoration, Inc.
Westminster College Foster Art Gallery to Host Reception Jan. 23
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster College's Department of Communication Studies, Theatre and Art will host an art gallery opening and reception for Wisconsin-based artist Edwin Jager from 4:30-6 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 23 at the Foster Art Gallery in Patterson Hall. A reception will include a gallery talk by the artist at 5:15 p.m. The event is free and open to the public.
