Westminster College Foster Art Gallery to Host Reception April 4

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster College's Department of Communication Studies, Theatre and Art will host an art gallery opening and reception for Westminster senior fine art major Steve Totin from 5-8 p.m. Friday, April 4 at the Foster Art Gallery in Patterson Hall. A reception will include a gallery talk by Totin at 6 p.m.  The event is free and open to the public.

Westminster College Broadcast Communications Student Nominated for College Emmy Award
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Joe Ligo `13, a Westminster alumnus who earned a degree in broadcast communications, was recently named one of three finalists for a 2014 Academy of Television Arts and Science College Emmy for Outstanding Documentary. The winner will be announced April 23 during an awards presentation in North Hollywood, Calif.

Senior Art and Design Show at Westminster College Foster Art Gallery
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Four Westminster College senior art students will be presenting select work from their portfolios Feb. 24- March 28 in Patterson Hall's Foster Art Gallery. A reception will be held Feb. 26 from 5-7 p.m. The reception is open and free to the public.

Westminster College Theatre Professor Awarded Prize for Innovative Teaching
NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Dr. Scott Mackenzie, Westminster College associate professor and director of theatre, was recently awarded the Prize for Innovative Teaching in Theatre from the Association of Theatre in Higher Education and Kennedy Center American College Theatre Festival Region II (ATHE/KCACTF). Region II includes Delaware, Maryland, New Jersey, northwest New York, Ohio, Pennsylvania, northern Virginia, Washington, D.C., and West Virginia.
