Downloading and using the template on a new PowerPoint presentation.

  1. Click on the "download" link and save the template on your PC (remember where you save it, we recommend your My Documents folder).
  2. Open Microsoft PowerPoint. Select File - New.
  3. In the right-hand task pane, select "From design template".
  4. The task pane will display all of your current templates. Click on browse at the bottom of the task pane.
  5. Browse to where the template was saved (we recommended your My Documents folder) and select the template. You are now ready to create your PowerPoint presentation.


Downloading and using the template on a existing PowerPoint presentation.

  1. Click on the "download" link and save the template on your PC (remember where you save it, we recommend your My Documents folder).

    NOTE: If you have already downloaded the Westminster PowerPoint template, you do not need to re-download it.

  2. Open the PowerPoint presentation you wish to apply the template to.
  3. Select Format - Slide Design.
  4. In the right-hand task pane, you will see your design templates.

    NOTE: If you have already used a Westminster PowerPoint template, it should be displayed here. If this is the case, you may stop here and select the template.

  5. Browse to where the template was saved (we recommended your My Documents folder) and select the template. Your PowerPoint presentation should now be in the Westminster template design.
