NEW WILMINGTON, PA – Westminster graduate Inga Laurent will discuss “From Retribution to Restoration: Implementing Nationwide Restorative Justice Initiatives” from 5:30 to 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 18, in the Mueller Theater of McKelvey Campus Center at Westminster College.

Laurent, associate professor and director of the Externship Program at Gonzaga University School of Law, spent nine months in Kingston, Jamaica, as a Fulbright Scholar studying restorative justice initiatives. Laurent lived and researched life in Kingston, as the Ministry of Justice attempted to transform the country and its legal system through a restorative justice agenda.

She earned her bachelor’s degree in political science from Westminster in 2002 and her juris doctorate from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law.
