Volleyball: Steward Named PAC Rookie of the Week

GREENVILLE, Pa. – Westminster College first-year Maya Steward (Los Angeles, CA / William Howard Taft) was named the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) Volleyball Rookie of the Week.
 
Steward totaled 46 kills (3.3/set), 58 digs (4.1/set), 11 service aces and eight assists last week for 4-1 Westminster. In Saturday's 3-2 win at Penn State Behrend, she finished with 16 kills and a .270 hitting percentage (16-6-37) to go along with 15 digs, two assists and a pair of blocks.
 
The Titans will next play in their PAC opener at Geneva College on Wednesday, September 12 at 7 p.m.
