Westminster College and Yonsei University in Seoul, South Korea, have entered into a student exchange agreement.

"Yonsei University is among the top three universities in the Republic of Korea," said Dr. Kang-Yup Na, assistant professor of religion at Westminster College. "Along with the Seoul National University and Korea University, Yonsei is the dream school for most Korean high school students. Its international exchange program is the most sophisticated in Korea, and probably one of the best in the world."

Students who accept this invitation to become exchange students have several requirements to meet. They have to be full-time students, and have completed at least one full academic year at the home institution. Students must have at least a 2.5 grade point average out of a possible 4.0, hold citizenship in their home country, meet language proficiency requirements of the host institution, and meet other requirements set down by both home and host institutions, as well as by host governments.

"Yonsei is in a vibrant, urban, university environment located in the heart of Seoul," Na continued. "Students converge from many nations and attend lectures given in English by scholars from all over the world."

Westminster also has an exchange agreement with Kansai Gaidai University in Japan.
