The Westminster All-College Honors Program had the opportunity to sit and talk with the Pulitzer Prize-winning author, Geraldine Brooks, on Sept. 28, at President Kathy Brittain Richardson’s house.

“As a first-year, I was ecstatic to meet a world-famous author and engage in intellectual conversation about what it means to be human,” said Sammi Winter. “I love that Westminster’s All-College Honors Program enables me to sit down with some of my best friends and incredibly intelligent experts, such as Ms. Brooks, and be reminded that despite all of our differences, we are all unified by our shared humanity.”

The group discussed Brooks’ novel People of the Book, as well as politics and humanity.
