Westminster College’s Peggy Cox, professor of art, will speak about her current art exhibition “Standing in Place: Recent Landscapes” from 5-6 p.m. on Sept. 28 in Foster Art Gallery, Patterson Hall. The reception is free and open to the public.
Cox’s inspiration came from studying the landscape and wooded areas around the college.
Cox has been at Westminster since 1985. She received a bachelor’s degree in studio art from University of Louisville, and a masters of fine art from the University of Pennsylvania.
