Westminster College Celebrity Series to Open Season with Illusionist

The Westminster College Celebrity Series will kick off its 2016-2017 season Saturday, Sept. 24, with illusionist Adam Trent: The Futurist. The 7:30 p.m. show, sponsored by First National Bank, will take the stage in Orr Auditorium.

Trent, star of the Broadway hit show, The Illusionists, has appeared on “America’s Got Talent,” “Good Morning America,” Rachel Ray, the Disney Channel and the Travel Channel, among others. His interactive performances that are part magic, part concert and part stand-up comedy make him one of the most in-demand illusionists working today. He promises that audiences will leave his show feeling differently than they expected to feel after a “Magic Show.” He bets his reputation on it.

In addition to his regular television appearances and more than 300 live shows per year, Trent’s history of philanthropic work has earned him a spot as one of US News & World Report’s “Top 10 Most Influential Youths in America.”

Ticket prices start at $29, with special pricing for school- and college-age students.
