Celebrating and remembering Martin Luther King, Jr., Westminster College will host Reverend Herb Bailey for Open Door Worship at 7 p.m., Sunday, Jan. 24 in Wallace Memorial Chapel. The service is free and open to the public.

Bailey, executive ministry director for Uncommon Grounds Cafe in Aliquippa, Pa., will deliver his sermon titled “Diverse by Design.” In his role at Uncommon Grounds Café, Bailey facilitates the work of other officers, ministry staff and volunteers working out of the Café or as part of the ministry of Church Army USA base in Aliquippa.

Before coming to Western Pa., Bailey’s ministry experience began in Nashville where he was chaplain for a local YMCA; associate director of pastoral care at Cumberland Heights, a drug and alcohol rehabilitation institute; and dean of culture at Brick Church College Prep School.

True Worship, a group directed by Westminster College gospel choir director, Manny Henderson, will provide musical arrangements for the service.
