Robert Klamut Jr., associate professor of physical education, head swim coach & assistant track coach at Westminster College, will present "Keeping Our Heads Above Water: The Westminster College Aquatics Program" at Faculty Forum Wednesday, April 26, at 11:45 a.m. in the Sebastian Mueller Theater located in the McKelvey Campus Center.

"I will explain the Aquatics Program here at Westminster, including class offerings, recreational swim opportunities, pool rental, events that take place at the pool, lifeguards, and swimming proficiency tests," Klamut said.  "I will also discuss our work-study program and their training."

Klamut, who has been with Westminster College since 1985, earned his undergraduate degree from Clarion University, and master's from the University of Pittsburgh.

Faculty Forum, established in 1990, serves as a venue for the exchange of ideas and information among Westminster College faculty.  Speakers present their research, teaching ideas, lectures, performances, special programs, and uses of technology to keep faculty informed about the work of colleagues from many disciplines.

The event is free and open to the public.  Contact Klamut at (724) 946-7315 or e-mail kalmutrg@westminster.edu for more information.
