NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Dr. Pamela Richardson, Westminster College associate professor of mathematics, was published in the November 2013 issue of Math Horizons, a journal published by the Mathematical Association of America (MAA).

In the article "Divine Secrets of the Mathematical Sisterhood" Richardson discusses her experiences in the Carleton College Summer Mathematics Program for Undergraduate Women, explaining that the program "offers much more to its participants than just a few challenging courses."

Richardson was a Mathematician in Residence at the program in July in Northfield, Minn., and will be an instructor in the program in 2014.

Richardson has been involved with the National Science Foundation-funded program for nearly 15 years as a student, researcher, teacher and mentor.  From 2010-2012, she was an instructor in the program.  As a Mathematician in Residence, Richardson worked on personal scholarship while serving as a mentor for the undergraduate participants in the program.
