Westminster College to Celebrate Family Day Nov. 2

NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. - Westminster College will host its annual Family Day Saturday, Nov. 2.

Families and friends will be welcomed with a variety of activities, including:

• Coffee and meeting with Westminster College President Dr. Richard Dorman at 9:30 a.m. in the Berlin Student Lounge on the 2nd floor of the McKelvey Campus Center
• Family BBQ from 11 a.m. - 1 p.m. in Old 77 ($9 for adults and Westminster College students, $6 for children 12 and under)
• Football game against Waynesburg Yellow Jackets at 1 p.m. in Burry Stadium ($6 for adults, $3 for students and senior citizens) 

Reservations and payment for lunch must be made no later than Friday, Oct. 25. Reservations can be made online at www.westminster.edu/events.

General admission football tickets will be available at lunch from 11:30 a.m.-12:30 p.m. or at the gate. 

Phi Kappa Tau fraternity will hold their fifth annual can drive during lunch in Old 77.  Non-perishable canned goods collected will be donated to a local food bank.  For each item given, donors will receive a chance to win one of many gift cards.  Email Alexander Bennett, Phi Kappa Tau philanthropy chair, at bennaa22@wclive.westminster.edu for additional information about the drive.
